The academic session is full of fun, value education, syllabus study, discipline, laughter and above all a beautiful experience. As promise, we complete the syllabus of preparatory, nursery and K.G. according to th§ higher standards of education. In house Doctor also examine our children twice in the academic session. Apart from the routine life, it's important to enjoy the little excitements and find the way to grab them.
We cherish the moments at our picnic on Children's Day and on several occasions just to catch up the extra laughter and high spirit.
As our Principal says the school is not by building walls or rooms, it's by you, the children and us. Our children are the soul of our school. Its not only we are teaching our students. Even as teachers, mothers, and humans we learn a lot from their innocence, laughter and pure feelings. They become a part of our family talks and discussions as we remember their innocent acts and laugh in pure laughter. As we say "Your child is our child".
Little Genius is a nursery wing which is a part of Brahmananda Public School. The name itself conveys the philosophy of the school and its aim. Little Genius perceives each child as a genius in itself. The school believes that child has his own thinking and belief. Each child is an investigator, an analyzer, and has unsaiisfiable curiosity. Therefore keeping a!I these things in mind the education given here is to draw out the best of the child. Here the work of tiie teacher is not as an instructor but as a guide or helper. Teacher doesn't impose anything in the child's mind. She first tries to find out their opinion and then place any knowledge by relating to their opinion. Here each child is given special attention and the teacher tries to satisfy their curiosity by giving examples from around their world.
Little Genius believes in all round development So, many activities have also been incorporated along with education. Picnics are organized bimonthly to a bcairtifal parks ami amusements. It gives opportunity to the children to interact with me nature very closely and to observe the outside world apart from home and school.
Pool Splash is also organized where children get the opportunity to play in water. Each year annual function is also held where children from preparatory to U.JC.G participate in various cultural activities with the help of the teacher. It tries to king out their hidden talent and also tries to inculcate in them the value of brotherhood and friendship.
Before each major festival children are told about the importance and meaning of the festival and are told to dress up like any character related to the festival. By this children would know the festival and its importance.
Little Genius also observes a 'colour week'. Here in every month a colour is assigned to a week. In that week they would colour all the objects related to that colour at "colour time". Children are also told to dress up in that particular colour. This would help to develop the identification of colour and objects related to that colour easily in children.
With all these activities Little Genius is trying to achieve its goal of all round development in children and also making them little geniuses.
We are happy to Welcome you for the ANNUAL DAY for the session 2004-05 and are glad to announce that our extended family - The PRIMARY WING of Brahmananda Public School has joined Our Spirit and Soul. As we have always maintained that here, the education will be of high standards and also the education with the right value system.
We have completed our syllabus well in schedule and are ready for Promotion tests. As we always say, we try to catch the special moments of our life with our children. We cherished these moments during our picnics, Christmas celebrations, Sports Day, Rangoli Competition, Water Splash Day, Saraswati Puja and many more such events which were organized by the school for our little stars. Images of little Ram's and Sita's still float in our eyes and the fun the children had with the Santa Claus during Christmas Celebration, has filled our hearts with smile and joy.
We want our future personalities to be in great health and hence our school Doctor conducted health check-ups , twice in this academic session.
We are true to our statement- when we say "YOUR CHILD IS OUR CHILD". The proof is a glimpse at our school walls and broken cycles. We allow the children to enjoy their creativity and maintain their active spirits and not just keep the things for display only.
By the end of the session we have discoloured walls painted in different colours by these children, but the great budding artistes may be the future M.F.Hussains . There are broken cycles, but these children may be the budding sportsmen such as Sachin Tendulkar. There are torn books but these children may be the future doctors, engineers, ministers of the world in making.
